Too Sharp!
Things are a bit hot for Tara in Perth right now, so when a rock promoter Wal knows needs a hand managing a difficult act that is coming to Brisbane; she jumps at the chance to get out of town. It’s not her usual line of work but the money is good and she’s a sucker for a backstage pass.
Getting away from her overbearing mother is also a plus, and taking a break from her mixed up feelings about Nick Tozzi and Edouardo, is not so bad either. Then there’s Cass, the young girl who’s left home and wants to work for her, and Wal himself, her narcoleptic bodyguard who’s always flashing his guns.
Leaving town for a while is all good.
But on arrival in BrisVegas, Tara find’s her hands full with the young rock star’s bizarre habits and crazy fans. Along the way she discovers that that the music industry is more cut throat and mercenary than she could have imagined and that their promoter friend is being screwed by the big guys to keep down. Tara takes offence at that and looks for a way to even the playing field. But she should know better than to mess with the big boys.
Meanwhile, Tozzi finds out that his wife is using again and hands her an ultimatum. Antonia packs her bags and heads to rehab in Brisbane (really!). When Tozzi hears Tara is there he asks her to check on his wife. Tara’s shoulders are broad and strong but having Tozzi dumping this on her is a major test of her patience and good will.
