Here’s a snip of the review…

“This fast, funny, light read follows on from Sharp Shooter. The main character, Tara, is likeable and engaging, as is her sidekick, Wal, who takes medication for narcolepsy and seems to be simultaneously clumsy and switched on. There’s an amusing knitting of personal and professional, with nothing too deep. An entertainment for lovers of comic crime.”

Thanks to Bel and Cels who came out to support my signing today at Carindale, and did some bookmark spruiking for Kylie Chan and I. You two are the best!

Aside from AussieCon I’ll be at Angus and Robertson in Victoria Gardens between 11am -1pm on Thursday 2nd September.

Just a reminder that I’ll be signing books at Angus and Robertson Post Office Square tomorrow (Friday) from 11am to 1pm with Kylie Chan.

Had a nice signing at A&R Chermside today. A special thank you to Julie for putting up a spectacular display and making me feel so welcome. Met some lovely people and sold copies of Tara Sharp. Had a little girl up come up out of the blue (her parents were nearby having coffee) to tell me that she liked my hair. She then engaged me in intelligent and thoughtful conversation about writing. I was truly entranced. I think she’ll grow up to be President of the World.

My hair seems to open conversations with people. I think I’ll keep it like this.

Carindale signing on xmas eve (11am-1pm). I may be slightly hysterical, but I’ll be there… Thanks to the people at Burleigh Heads and Pac Fair who bought copies of Sharp Shooter.

Other than that, am working on book 2, waking up in the morning, head filled with the escapades that Tara has gotten herself into. Vive l’imagination!

The Bendigo Weekly is doing a giveaway pack which includes a copy of Sharp Shooter, and Red Dust by Fleur McDonald. If you’re in the area, think about signing up for the prizes.

Tomorrow I’ll be at my local A&R store in Vicky Point between 10.30-12.30. Would welcome some conversation!

Kylie Chan and I will be signing books at Angus and Robertson, Post Office Square store, on Friday (11/12/09) between 11am and 1pm. This will be our last city signing, though we still have some others coming up; including Victoria Point, Burleigh Heads and Carindale.

SP signing is postponed until January due to me being unwell. Thanks to those who’ve been emailing me to say that they’ve enjoyed the book. It’s been a real cheer up!

Will be at Southport Park on Saturday to sign Sharp Shooter. Other than that, I’ve got a book deadline for next week, so I’m a little behind on my whodunnit posting. Will catch up by next Wednesday.

This kind of sums me up for the next week.

Indooroopilly was fun as a few people dropped by to say hello. Belinda-darl brought in her chainmail jewellry for me to have a look at, and we’re concocting a plan to use it (thanks for the fruit clusters, Belinda – I ate them all! My turn to bring them next time).

Sold A&R’s last copy of Sharp Shooter, so many thanks to Cat for having us. Working today, so better get back to it.
